Chappell Roan is famous for her amazing onstage makeup looks, and you can find out the history behind them in a new documentary series debuting on Hulu on Jan. 22.
The series, Faces of Music, is made in collaboration with Sephora and features three episodes: One featuring Chappell, one on Victoria Monét and one on Becky G. In a statement, Chappell says, "As a former tween mid-west mall-rat," she would go to Sephora with her friends and "play with makeup."
"It was very full circle to partner with Sephora and such an honor to be part of something that I KNOW my 12-year-old self would be bragging about [while] standing in line to buy Too Faced Lip Plumper, just saying," she adds of the doc. "To know I actually DID get good enough to do my own makeup on my first album cover, and to replicate it **perfectly** on camera for Faces of Music...I give myself a little pat on the back."
In the trailer, the "Pink Pony Club" singer says, "Chappell is a version of myself that's so bold and confident and hot." You can also see her with a completely bare face.
