What started as a disappointing $2 tip quickly turned into a life-changing moment for Connor Stephanoff, a 20-year-old pizza delivery driver in Brownsburg, Indiana.
On January 11, Lieutenant Richard Craig, known as “Officer Craig” on TikTok, posted a video capturing Stephanoff braving a snowstorm to deliver a pizza. When asked about his tip, Stephanoff revealed he received just $2.15 for a $40 order. Shocked, Craig gave him $15 from his own pocket and called out the low tip in his viral video.
Moved by Stephanoff’s dedication, Craig launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise a few hundred dollars. Within a day, donations surged past $1,500. Within three weeks, nearly 2,000 people contributed over $41,000.
Stephanoff, who borrows his grandmother’s car to make deliveries, now plans to buy his own vehicle, help with bills, and possibly attend college. The overwhelming generosity proves that small acts of kindness can spark incredible change. As Craig put it, “Good things come to good people who do the right thing.”
