Miami’s culinary scene is stepping into the future with Better Days Robotic Kitchens, the city’s first fully robot-run restaurant. Offering Mediterranean-inspired gourmet meals priced between $4 and $15, this innovative eatery combines AI precision and convenience to redefine dining.
The process begins in a traditional kitchen where chefs craft the menu, ensuring flavors are tailored to Miami’s diverse tastes. Meals are prepped in batches, packaged with embedded recipes, and handed over to robots for final cooking.
Using advanced AI, the robots cook each dish to perfection in just two to four minutes. “These ovens are deceptively simple looking,” said Ryan Ramseyer, general manager, “but they communicate with robotic arms and freezers to measure weight, moisture, and even adjust for pickup or delivery.” A final thermal scan guarantees everything is cooked flawlessly.
Local 10 News reporter Alexis Frazier sampled the offerings, praising the homestyle macaroni and cheese and calling the spicy rigatoni her favorite. “It does not taste like it’s been frozen for one second,” she marveled.
Sustainability is another standout feature. “We don’t really have any waste in our system,” Ramseyer explained. Robots can operate 24/7, making the service as efficient as it is futuristic.
Currently, Better Days Robotic Kitchens is a pickup-only venture, available via delivery apps. With no human chefs required during service, this new dining model may set the standard for the future of food.
