Simone Biles, 27, is kicking off 2024 with a major milestone: she’s Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year, the first Olympic athlete to earn the honor since LeBron James in 2012.
Gracing the magazine’s cover in a striking snakeskin-printed dress, Biles stunned in a photoshoot by Shaniqwa Jarvis. Highlights include silver sequin hot pants paired with a sleek black romper and metallic heels, as well as a bold, see-through David Koma design with a plunging neckline.
Fans and celebrities celebrated the announcement on Instagram, with one calling her selection “obvious” and former teammate Aly Raisman commenting, “STUNNING!!!!! 💕.”
In her interview, Biles reflected on her career, expressing uncertainty about competing in the 2028 Olympics. “I’ve accomplished so much… I’m humble enough to know when to be done,” she said.
With 11 Olympic medals and countless accolades, Biles continues to inspire as a true GOAT.
