South Florida’s own Lexie Alford, better known as Lexie Limitless, has made history—twice! Born into a family of adventurers, Lexie’s passion for travel started early. By 18, she had already visited 70 countries. But she wanted more.
Determined to push her limits, Lexie set a bold goal: visit every country in the world. After 3.5 years of nonstop exploration, she achieved it at just 21 years old, earning a Guinness World Record as the youngest person to do so.
In 2023, she took on a new challenge—becoming the first person to drive an electric vehicle around the world. Partnering with Ford, she spent 200 days crossing six continents, 27 countries, and nearly 19,000 miles, facing unpredictable charging stops and personal struggles. On March 26, 2024, she crossed the finish line in France, securing her second world record.
Back home, her achievements earned recognition from Miami’s Mayor Francis Suarez, who awarded her the key to the city. Her incredible journey is now a YouTube documentary, Charge Around the Globe.
